During his tenure in Beaver Creek, Ric served as listing broker for such exclusive developments as Centennial, The Pines Lodge, The Pines Townhomes, Wiltshire Court, Beaver Creek Lodge and One Beaver Creek. From 1992 he held the position of Managing Broker for Vail Associates Real Estate until the merger between Slifer Smith & Frampton and Vail Associates Real Estate in 1994. After the merger, Ric became the Branch Broker for the Village Hall office of Slifer Smith & Frampton/Vail Associates Real Estate until becoming the Listing Broker for Buckhorn Townhomes and later Horizon Pass Residences in Bachelor Gulch Village where he currently offices. At the present time, Ric is the Branch Broker for Bachelor Gulch.

Ric is a graduate from Ohio University with a degree in Business Administration and has a Masters in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management in Arizona.

Ric moved from Europe to the Vail Valley where he resides with his wife Mignon.

Born and raised in South Dakota, Didi graduated summa cum laude from Stephens College in Columbia, MO in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre. She pursued her acting career after college working everywhere from the Utah Shakespearean Festival, to a cabaret singer in Santa Fe, NM. In between acting jobs, she worked many waitressing and bartending jobs at some of the finest restaurants this country has to offer.

Didi and her husband have a love for travel, and have moved all over the United States together; South Dakota, Utah, Georgia, Florida, New Mexico and now Edwards, Colorado. After seeing just about every inch of these United States, she says about the Vail Valley, “This is the best place in our country to live, vacation and play!”

After moving to the Valley in 2005, Didi decided to pursue real estate as a career. She earned her broker’s license the summer of 2006, and was lucky to be hired as assistant to Ric Souto at the Bachelor Gulch Slifer Smith & Frampton Office Location. Didi has assisted Ric in of over $100 million in real estate sales over the past four years. Along with representing buyers and sellers in all areas of residential property here in the Vail Valley, Didi and Ric recently helped to launch the new Slifer Smith & Frampton Auction Division.

Didi loves the outdoors and all the activities these beautiful mountains have to offer. You’ll find her skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, and hiking, biking, swimming, and gardening in the summer. She has a competitive edge and competes in local snow shoe, trail running, and multi-sport events. She is an active volunteer with the Vail Valley Medical Center Volunteer Corps, the Vail Film Festival and is an active member of the Bravo! Music Festival Guild.
